Truth and Reconciliation Commitment

Each year, schools within the Calgary Board of Education make a commitment to advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action. For the 2026-2027 school year, our commitment is to actively create opportunities for students, staff, and families to learn about and engage in Indigenous land-based and place-based learning. Through these experiences, we look forward to learning on and from the land, deepening our understanding of Indigenous perspectives, and building meaningful connections within our Evanston community.

Noon Hour Fee – Grade 7 / 8

Families will see a Noon Hour Activity Fee on My CBE for Grade 7 and 8 students. This fee is significantly important to our school this year as we develop intramurals, lunch time clubs, activities, and opportunities for our students.

Athletics

Spectators

We appreciate the excitement in supporting our athletes at soccer and basketball. For all indoor games, it is important to note that student spectators are ONLY allowed when they are accompanied by their own parents. If our students want to spectate away games, they must be accompanied by their own parents, except for soccer.
