A reminder that there is no school on Monday, October 19 for students. See you on Tuesday!  

Halloween Activities 

We will recognize Halloween on Friday, October 30th through school-wide activities and the opportunity to wear costumes. Costumes must be school-appropriate, including no masks/weapons/gore and following dress code requirements. Costumes are voluntary, and students are encouraged to wear black, orange, or purple if they prefer. If your family does not celebrate Halloween, please make sure to let your child’s teacher know so we can make sure the day is fun for everyone! 

CBE Student Survey 

Earlier this week, you received an email about the annual CBE Student Survey. Please ensure you have logged into School Engage and updated your annual consent if you have not already done so. If you would like to change your response, please contact the office.  

Photo Retakes 

Photo retakes will be held on Tuesday, October 20th.  

Physical Education Participation 

We recognize that accidents, illnesses, and injuries can mean that students cannot participate in Physical Education classes. To ensure that we are appropriately supporting students, a parent note is required after two days of non-participation. After 5 days, a doctor’s note is required to sit out of PE class.  

Donations? 

We are looking for a few items if you are in a position to help us out: 

  • A scale (or two) to weigh in our wrestling team  
  • Tissue boxes for classrooms 
  • Snacks for our emergency pantry
