Often the end of the school year is a time of celebration and reflection. For us at Evanston Heights, we are all systems go! We will continue to work through the summer to prepare the building, resources, people and learning to welcome your children in the fall.
Below you will find information about what to expect in the fall. There is a significant amount of information, thank you for reading thoroughly. And, there will be much more to communicate in the fall.
August 26: Welcome Email from the School
This email will include general information for back to school.
August 27: Welcome Email from Homeroom Teacher
This email from your child’s homeroom teacher will include grade/classroom specific information:
Name and room number of teacher(s)
1st day of school meeting spot
Entry/exit doors
Grade/classroom specific information
August 28: Classroom Open House
Our teacher open house date will be on August 28 from 11:30-1pm. You are welcome to come to the school, meet your child’s teacher and visit your child’s classroom. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
August 31: First Day of School - Staggered Entry
We will have a staggered entry on August 31st only. Grade 4-6 will start at 9:15am (our regular start time), and grade 7/8 will start at 11:15am. September 1st and beyond, all students will start at the regular time of 9:15am.
